Baby Dress It Up, Dress It Down, Anyway You Want It Done, Girl.

Whether you're rugging up for Winter or dressing down for summer, there is something we can all agree on - red is fabulous. The bold colour just screams power and authority, and both of these things are on many women's wish lists. Worn in classical scarlet dress in the earlier centuries, it was put aside for the more classical neutrals that were prominent during the 50s and 60s. Well ladies, red is making a comeback, so get ready to grab your wallets!

It can be dressed up for that classy look that have dominated elite parties and catwalks, or wear it alone or with black for that rebellious, sexy look with wide belts and boots on the side. Whatever your fancy, red is back, time to embrace it!

Look of the Day

Just a quick post today my dears, as I am anxiously researching fashion business courses and career paths. It's so overwhelming! Anyway, what do you guys think of this outfit worn by the gorgeous Isabel Lucas?

Absolutely adore the subtle but stunning shade of pink of this skirt, and her cream crocheted top is a gorgeous feature piece. And she's drinking water; maybe that is why celebrities are so beautiful, they stick to the good stuff!

Remember to enter my contest HERE!!! The winner will be announced on Tuesday, so get your entries in, and good luck to everyone!

We Heart It

I'm sure we're all aware of that magical store full of delicious couture, and at a price that makes us beam with happiness too. Yes I am talking about that genius Spanish creation, a.k.a Zara. No matter who we are and where we come from, at the end of the day we all must admit that Zara is one of the most popular stores in the world, and its affordable clothes are a huge hit everywhere. So it's no wonder when Sydney finally caught up that it was as big attraction!

Zara first opened its doors to its adoring fans mid-April this year, and for the first few weeks, it was all anyone could talk about. Zara this, Zara that, Zara, Zara, Zara! Me being the well travelled little girl I am, had fallen in love when I first visited the store in Paris. Three hours later, my mother and I exited to my bored and exhausted father and sister, with beaming grins on our faces. Let's just say dad didn't like the look of his credit card bill. So with word of its opening spreading fast, I rapidly became one of these people who would squeal at the mention of the coveted store.

Two of my gorgeous friends and I decided to take a peek at this famous fashion bombshell four days after its grand opening, inferring that by that time the hype would have died down. It hadn't. See for yourselves.

I adore the white dress in this last picture, but that's beside the point. The line to get in was so long it felt like a night club, but fortunately I went to the underground level and got through without a minute wasted. It was so busy that there was no room to move, let alone look at clothes. People were picking up anything and everything, and the line to buy something was longer than the one to get inside! It just goes to show how deprived we fashionistas are down here in Sydney *sigh*. Well anyway, hope you know to take your Zaras and use them to your full advantage, and talk to you all on Friday!

Oh So Lively!

I know I promised an update on my party, but I have misplaced my camera cord, which is desperately missed at the moment. So, until my friend remembers to fetch hers (heh, as if), I will continue posts as per normal. And as soon as she remembers, get ready to say hello to unflattering amazing and ugly gorgeous photos of mio!

Anyway, enough insane ranting for today, I know you all hate my little ramblings. I would like to bring your attention to (if it's not already there) the beautiful, prestigious and now-famous star that's been popping up all around fashion town. From Gossip Girl to Chanel accessories and fashion shows, this little lady has unsurprisingly been a huge hit with designers, providing endless opportunities and the life we all dream of. That's right, I'm talking about the one and only Blake Lively!

With her bronzed skin and golden brown hair, this girl is the epitome of beauty. And good news ladies, she's not just a pretty face. She's been bragged to be a down-to-earth, educated and, as her name suggests, very lively indeed. From teen sensation to the real fashion elite, Blake Lively seems to have risen to fame at an alarming rate, with deals from Mr Karl Lagerfeld himself being thrown on the table.

But enough of the words, which I know half of you don't listen to, which is always evident through comments. Let's see her story through pictures, and comment below on what your thoughts are of this fabulous starlet!

Remember to enter my giveaway here, which will be ending in 8 days, follow me on bloglovin' here, where you can keep up to date on all the latest from mio, check out my tumblr here, comment in that little box below that you all love so much, and see you on Wednesday!
